'Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice' Written 'From The Heart,' Says Jeremy Irons Plus Gal Gadot Talks About Playing Wonder Woman
Jeremy Irons, a cast member of “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” recently praised the script of his new movie. In another report, Gal Gadot spoke about her experience after being cast as Wonder Woman in the upcoming movie.
The role of Bruce Wayne’s butler, Alfred, is being played by Jeremy Irons in “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” ComicBook translated one of his interviews that appeared on LaNazione. The actor reportedly said that his upcoming movie was a “blockbuster written from the heart.”
This will be the first time that the actor will be playing the role of the comic book character Alfred. The role was previously played by actors such as Michael Caine and Michael Gough in some of the previous movies. Jeremy is said to have commented on his upcoming movie by saying that the movie had “an amazing screenplay.”
Meanwhile, Gal Gadot spoke about her experience when she found out that she was playing the role of Wonder Woman in “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” According to a report by ComingSoon, the actress was apparently on a plane sitting next to a scientist and listening to him speak about quantum physics, when she got the news about being cast in the movie.
“Now, imagine me, sitting on the plane, looking for a little piece of privacy, burring my head between my legs and starting to scream ‘Oh my god!’ again and again,” the actress said in the report. The actress was not allowed to share the news about being cast in the movie with the scientist and told him that he may get to read about it in the papers the next day.
The actress said that she was grateful that she gets to play “the strongest most empowering woman ever” and described the character Wonder Woman as having “unbelievable endurance” who is “exceptionally strong” and a “serious woman.”
Gal Gadot will be seen in her solo movie playing the role of Wonder Woman after “Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice.” The upcoming movie is slated to be released in March 2016 in New Zealand, UK and the U.S. The release date of the movie in Australia has still not been revealed by the producers.
