Battlefield 4 Release Date Revealed and Unlocks Offered, Call of Duty: Ghosts Teased in Pre-E3 Show
It's a battle on the battlefield, with two much-awaited games, Call of Duty: Ghosts and Battlefield 4 also go face-to-face as the E3 2013 draws ever closer.
This time, a confirmation for the release date of Battlefield 4 has been set, following a tweet on the game's official Twitter account.
"The next gen of Battlefield begins on 10/29 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. #BF4 will also be available for the Xbox One and PS4," said the tweet. This was in response to a query by a fan on whether the game will come to the current-gen consoles.
There's also more to expect at the E3 2013, particularly Battlefield 4 showing off its multiplayer demo at the booth, confirmed in, yet again, another tweet:
"DICE will be unveiling BF4 multiplayer with a live demo at The Download: EA 2013 Preview press conference."
Power-up for BF4 unlockables
Once again, GameStop proves that there's really an advantage to not just being the retailer for upcoming games, but also in being a Power-Up Rewards member.
Joystiq reports that some of the vehicle upgrades in Battlefield 3 can now be unlocked for Power-Up Rewards members have preordered Battlefield 3. This is introduced by the Air Vehicles Shortcut Kit, giving you instant 38 upgrades for all vehicles in BF3.
Sounds like a great way to celebrate and kill time while waiting for Battlefield 4's release this October.
