Battlefield 4 vs. Call of Duty: Ghosts: Continuing EA Lawsuits; Ghosts’ Season Pass Items and a Trailer Copyright
The issues plaguing "Battlefield 4" and Electronic Arts have not yet subsided, as another legal claim seems to be casting a shadow over the progress of the team in terms of deltivering patches for the next-gen shooter game.
Though EA has already announced that the other lawsuit would be deemed "meritless" in the end, this new one seems to be targeting an even bigger scale. According to GameSpot, the new lawsuit is aiming to seek out EA shareholders that would participate, particularly because senior EA executives were claimed to have withheld information on the shareholders and the public about the condition of "Battlefield 4" when it releases to consumers.
This still boils down to how, because of the mentioned incident, shares of EA not only declined, but there was also talk of how higher execs in EA sold their shaers before the release of "Battlefield 4."

It doesn't help that there are other issues that seem to just be fueling the fire even more, the latest involving the Chinese media in relation to the China Rising DLC. Forbes reports that the add-on pack is seen as a way of putting a negative spin to China's image abroad.
For the critics, the main problem seems to lie with how China is now being seen as the main villain in war games, particularly those that are populated by American soldiers and heroes.
At least for now, "Battlefield 4" has not yet seen a release in China, though given all the problems with the game, it might be best to examine the financial repercussions and rewards of a release in the region, considering the reception of the Chinese media of the China Rising DLC.

Ghosts Trailer for Xbox One Copyrighted
In related news, some viewers of Xbox One Canada may have been surprised that they can't watch the official trailer for Ghosts' official season pass. According to Cinema Blend, even the likes of Microsoft have been affected by YouTube's new Content ID policy, which heavily monitors copyright content in the videos.
Activision was said to be the one responsible for striking the copyright on Xbox Canada, but has, since then, been contacted to re-instate the strike to allow viewers full access.
