Cast as Belle in Bill Condon’s live-action “Beauty and the Beast,” Emma Watson is making headlines once again as she tops AskMen’s 99 Most Outstanding Women of 2015 list. The “Harry Potter” alum topped a new poll of outstanding women along with top female skier Lindsey Vonn, reality star Kim Kardashian, country singer Taylor Swift and Hollywood royalty Angelina Jolie.

“Emma Watson is so many incredible things at once — rich, successful, famous, stylish, beautiful, intelligent, personable, kind,” according to AskMen publisher James Bassil. “And yet, rather than be content with a life of luxury, she's thrown her back into a serious social issue in an effort to shift the way our society treats women.”

Known for her role as Hermione Granger, Watson grew up to be a woman not so different from her famous character when she was cast in 1999. Now a huge advocate for gender equality, the “Beauty and the Beast” star is the face of United Nations HeForShe campaign where she aims to change the way men think about women.

The website described the actress as “beautiful, talented, glamorous and just plain kickass women who are defining the world we live in." It was only in January when Watson captivated the audience with her impassioned speed at Davos where she received positive responses since she launched the #HeForShe campaign in September.

The actress has beaten mixed martial arts fighter Rhonda Rousey with “Keeping Up With The Kardashian” star landing on the third spot. Taylor Swift took the fourth spot on the list with Linsey Vonn on the fifth place. Other stars who are included on the Top 10 are youngest female billionaire in the world Elizabeth Holmes, hip-hop superstar Beyonce, human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, “Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence and Australian Open champion Serena Williams.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old star is set to play alongside “Downtown Abbey” actor Dan Stevens as Beast/Prince and “The Hobbit” star Luke Evans as the villainous Gaston. Funny man Josh Gad is scheduled to play Le Fou, Gaston’s buffoonish sidekick. Other stars who are in the movie include Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts and Kevin Kline as Belle’s father, Maurice.
