“Big Brother Australia” nominations night is all about the girls (and a boy)! The Halfway house has been filled with squabbling girls, and Tully was able to see everything!

Yes, Mikkayla is once again nominated for eviction. As was last week, it didn’t surprise her that she’s been voted off by her housemates once more. And if anything, she probably expected it more this week than last since she saved herself from doom.

But before everything else, Tully, who won the Showdown on Friday night, was given the nomination “lurker” superpower of the night. Big Brother gave her six voting points, and the ability to see the tally board. She couldn’t see who nominated, but it was enough for her to manipulate the final scores.

She’s not nominated this week, fortunately for her. On Monday eviction night, people in the studio were shouting her name for eviction. She was, and remains, very unpopular on social media as well. Ironic since she’s a social media strategist in the outside world (makes one wonder how she would strategise her popularity once she’s out).

But perhaps the housemates knew that Tully could be given an x-ray superpower (or something equally as cool) as the winner of the Showdown (just like Ed was given a Sounding Out power last week) so they avoided voting for her. Notice that some housemates cover their mouth when they mentioned their nominees, in case Tully was allowed to spy on their nominations.

Since she had six points to spare, she nominated Mikkayla (yet again), Katie & Lucy, and Jade. Mikkayla does indeed get on nerves of some of the housemates, but even before, Tully didn’t seem to even try liking her. She was even the one most upset when Mikkayla was first swapped to safety, which didn’t exactly make sense if she, as she said, got along with everyone including the English teacher.

For the third week in a row, both Ed and Matthew nominated Mikkayla again. Their reasons are the same every week: that Mikkayla was bossy (plus, for Matthew, she swapped places with him). At least they’re consistent.

Unsurprisingly, Katie & Lucy and Tahan voted each other (the sisters voted as one) for four points each. Their falling out earlier this week proved that the government worker and the Sugar Sisters wouldn’t be the best of friends in the house. Ever.

Jade was once again back in the Halfway house after being automatically nominated the first week. And again unsurprisingly, she nominated Jasmin, and Jasmin did the same thing for her, with both sparing three points for each other. As Jade had put it, they weren’t really close before, and Jasmin proved it when she kissed Ed, whom Jade has her eyes on ever since she got “divorced” from faux husband Drew.

But her constant flirting with the boys (Drew, Ed, and even Matthew) didn’t do her any favour inside the house. Matthew, who has a girlfriend outside the house, even nominated her for two points for being “very aggressive.”

Tim nominated Jasmin for three points and Ed for two points. Jasmin because she allegedly claimed she was Switzerland but she wasn’t. And Ed because he was really Switzerland, and Tim doesn’t even like Swiss cheese!

The tally board:
Caleb – Tim (3), Jade (2)
Drew – Tahan (3), Matthew (2)
Tahan – Katie & Lucy (4), Jade (1)
Heidi – Tahan (3), Ben (2)
Jade – Jasmin (3), Matthew (2)
Ed – Mikkayla (3), Tim (2)
Jasmin – Jade (3), Mikkayla (2)
Katie & Lucy – Tahan (4), Jasmin (1)
Ben – Ed (3), Mikkayla (2)
Matthew – Mikkayla (3), Jade (2)
Tim – Jasmin (3), Ed (2)
Mikkayla – Jasmin (3), Matthew (2)
Tully – Mikkayla (3), Katie & Lucy (2), Jade (1)

The six nominated are: Mikkayla (13), Tahan (10), Jasmin (10), Jade (9), Katie and Lucy (6), and the lone man, Matthew (6).

Tully, as expected, cried again. Her best friends, Jasmin, Tahan, and Matthew, are all in the Halfway house, which of course “upset” Tully again.

Earlier in the show, Big Brother has given the recently evicted Rohan a birthday party inside the house. The drama student wasn’t able to celebrate it with them (with him being on the outside already), but that didn’t stop the housemates to have fun on his behalf.

But what was supposed to be Rohan’s night became all about Tim, thanks to Tim himself. He came to blows with Jasmin during the party. Even Heidi, who was his best bud at the start, has become one of his biggest detractors.

It was the opposite for Mikkayla, however. She admitted to Big Brother in the Diary Room that she once considered Tim an unruly student, but now he’s one of his closest friends in the house.

Again, the nominees are not final yet. Will Mikkayla get lucky for the third time during the nomination swap on Thursday?

The “end of the wall” is coming on Wednesday as well, which will give the housemates “freedom” and will possibly have their alliances shift. Also, a housemate is going to get a “strike” that could cut his or her stay in the house short.
