“Big Brother Australia” housemate Tahan is being protected by the show? Several viewers and one rather credible witness in the form of ex-housemate Nathan have revealed that the other girls’ perception of Tahan as a mean girl isn’t exaggerated, but the show opts to edit out anything that would make her look bad on camera.

During live nominations, the Sugar Sisters, Jade, and Mikkayla constantly mentioned Tahan’s so-called negativity, claiming that the government worker from Victoria always had mean things to say about her friends from the outside world.

But aside from one vaguely audible rant on the treadmill weeks ago (the one where Heidi and Tim complained to each other how Tahan’s boyfriend could stand her), no video supporting the girls’ claims was ever aired.

Former intruder and now walker Nathan Little has an answer why that is.

“...knowing Tahan hated me after I took her to task in the spa for always seeming to refer to her friends outside as fat sluts with ugly hair (which was cut out),” Nathan wrote on her Facebook page.

So that’s why viewers haven’t really seen any clip of Tahan badmouthing any of her friends as her rivals in the house have said. The show has cut out any video that shows her ever doing the same.

But are we sure that there are other unaired videos of Tahan calling her friends fat and ugly, or if Nathan was even telling the truth?

No, we’re not. And unless Big Brother has 24-hour live streaming, we can’t be sure at all.

Perhaps the girls (Katie & Lucy, Jade, and Mikkayla) were just making Tahan look bad during live nominations, which Big Brother can’t edit out, and Nathan just wanted to reinforce their claims.

But why go to such lengths to disparage someone they want to rid of? Why would the girls invent something that they knew would be found out sooner or later? After all, they don’t know which clips would be aired.

Also, what would Nathan gain by telling a lie about Tahan?

Maybe he was still reeling about the fact that Tahan chose his fellow intruder Justynn to stay in the house instead of him? He must be ticked off with her choice after he gave back her beloved hair dryer.

But all these are speculations. What the viewers only know is that Tahan is being constantly called a mean girl and a bully by her fellow housemates, but have limited knowledge why that is so. Now we have a testimony from someone from the house who has dealt with her, albeit for a short time. It’s up to the public whom or which they want to believe, Nathan or the show’s edited scenes.

Speaking of Tahan, don’t even think about making any negative remarks on her on the Big Brother official Facebook page if you don’t want to get banned. According to some online commenters, the BB site would just remove any dissenting opinions about the dark-skinned beauty even if the remarks aren’t derogatory. Some commenters were even reported for spamming when they dared to defend Jade or Mikkayla on the official Facebook page.

“I just got blocked from commenting on the official page, only because I don’t agree with the 100s and 1000s of people brainwashed by big brother’s editing and not agreeing with the Tahan lovers, I can’t comment or anything!” Facebook user Sharon Wiktor wrote on housemate Jade’s fanpage. “And there’s others saying heaps worse about jade and mikkayla!”

“They have been doing it for both jade and mikkayla,” another user named Nathan Andd Kellie added about deleted comments. “Someone has to call them out on this bad behaviour, it’s not a fair game if you can’t show support for your fav hm.”

User account name Mary Rose also pointed out another alleged bias in the whole Tahan debacle, saying, “Mikkayla’s familyhave said that they aren’t allowed to send shout outs to radio stations, but how come David Reynold is talking about Tahan on Nova?”

If it’s true that Mikkayla’s family were banned from promoting her, then shouldn’t every family member or even partners of housemates be prohibited to promote them as well?

David Reynolds, by the way, is a V8 Supercar driver and Tahan’s boyfriend, who has at one time Tweeted that Mikkayla was a cane toad and that the Sugar Sisters were boring.

Blogger Leesalittle also shared some revealing information about how Big Brother is only favourable to Tahan but not to others (read about it here) and how Tahan’s supporters have carried out a dubious tactic that would get her votes even from unsuspecting One Direction fans (read it here).

It’s doubtful that the producers of the show would put a stop to the scheme since 1) it might be a shady tactic but not exactly illegal, and 2) the producers have also turned a blind eye on a similar act performed by Ed’s family when they ran a contest for votes. Read more of the story here.

So who’s going home on Wednesday? Boog is the best bet since, as an intruder, she hasn’t developed any solid fan base yet. However, basing on the comments on various social media both from Tahan and Mikkayla’s supporters, they have sworn to vote for their idol and Boog to get rid of the other one.

In the end, Boog might even end up with more votes than Tahan and Mikkayla.
