Hitting level 20 in "Destiny" is not the end of the journey for the Guardians. In fact, it may be the beginning of a much exciting one, considering that the developers also seem to have prepared players for reaching this goal.

For instance, leveling up puts you on another type of progression that is light leveling. According to Segment Next, after level 20, you can now put some of your armour and weapon on a legendary and high level, as legendary equipment can reportedly only be obtained once your Guardian has hit level 20.

Rare material use and collection will also start to become more valuable at level 20, because you can now gather these rare materials and start getting into trade for rep points or marks. For those who wants to check out the exotic items that are offered in "Destiny," strange coins also appear beyond level 20.

Raids are events that can be played with five of your other friends, are also a great way to play "Destiny" once you've gone beyond level 20. But according to Forbes, hitting level 20 may not necessarily be available at the get-go. You need a certain level of Light obtained to be able to tap the Raids missions that really means that gaining light will become the next mission after hitting the 20th mark.

Even fans have started talking about the level 20 cap and what to expect with the way you upgrade from this point on. One Reddit user mykkenny and a level 26 Warlock in "Destiny" gives a bit of advice on what to do for those who may just have reached the new level.

One could be to start doing daily bounties to raise your reputation level for better access to weapons and armours. Another tip is to take on Strikes and Crucible games as you can start pushing your Marks up. Taking this seriously daily will allow you to obtain the Legendary quality armour. The Redditor also cautions against buying cosmetic items for Marks, Coins or Motes of Light, as these will be better spent on gear that will upgrade your Guardian.

September Events Coming

Even though September is already halfway through, Bungie has also prepared a few events for the month for "Destiny." Today marks the opening of the Vault of Glass that is a raid that will take place on Venus. The event is meant for those who are already at level 26 and you have Raid Set Gear and Ascendant Materials as up-for-grabs rewards.

September will also bring Combined Arms and Queen's Wrath, though these are the only information made available. In October, fans can look forward to the Iron Banner, which was first introduced during the beta run of "Destiny."

Master Chief in 'Destiny?'

As an ending trivia, IGN has spotted what appears to be a Master Chief shout out in "Destiny." Or rather, what looks like his head and helmet, as the building is shaped exactly like Master Chief's gear.

The link above shows off the screenshot of the building in "Destiny" and a famous shot of Master Chief. It's an interesting coincidence, though given Bungie's history with 'Halo," it may also be a magnificent Easter Egg.
