The Australian sharemarket is improving for the fourth straight day, the third consecutive month and both the ASX200 together with the All Ordinaries are above 5200pts. Should markets continue to rise a touch more, stocks could reach five year highs.

As of the rumors in June this year for the specs of the device it has been a very Long wait the Sony Xperia M is here in UK priced at $249.99. The fairly prices device dont have any comparison to the high end android smartphone that Sony offers. The device has been launched only in US and is expected to launch sooner in coming weeks in Europe and Asia.

A 15.43% rise Taiwan's Lutheran home price index during the year to end-Q2 2013, (14.52% inflation-adjusted) follows four years of unbroken house price increases, according to Sinyi Real Estate Planning and Research. The latest quarter was spectacular too: the home price index rose a record 7.45% (7.33% inflation-adjusted) in Q2 2013.

New Zealand's Fonterra Back in Russia, Whey Protein in Milk Safe for Consumers (VIDEO)

New Zealand's Fonterra has received a report that Russia has lifted its temporary ban on its dairy products. The Ministry of Primary Industries in New Zealand said some of Fonterra's milk products were now allowed back to Russia. While the agency was pleased with the news, it said there were some restrictions imposed on Fonterra to protect Russian consumers.

Australian Stock Market Report – Afternoon 9/9/13

The Australian share market enjoyed a solid start to the trading week. The removal of election uncertainty, strong Chinese trade data and a successful Olympic bid by Tokyo also supported stocks in the region. Japan's Nikkei Index rose 2.5 per cent while the Shanghai Composite in China was up 3.5 per cent.

Australian Stock Market Report – Midday 9/9/13

Australian shares are a touch higher, with some better than forecast economic news out this morning assisting. The All Ordinaries Index (XAO) is up 0.4 per cent. The number of loan commitments by those buying, building or renovating properties jumped by a better than forecast 2.4 per cent in August. The number of job advertisements made by businesses in newspapers and online slid by 2 per cent, however Chinese inflation numbers were mostly as expected.
