Caitlyn Jenner Spotted In Public For First Time Since Vanity Fair Debut
Caitlyn Jenner, formerly Bruce Jenner, was spotted in public for the first time following his debut as a woman in Vanity Fair. The former Olympian was photographed while filming scenes for the upcoming E! show “I am Cait.”
A photo shared by Mirror UK showed Caitlyn Jenner sitting at the back of a Mercedes with his head down. From the photo, the 65-year old could be seen clearly wearing red lipstick as he hides his eyes with a pair of sunglasses.
The photo was reportedly taken while Caitlyn Jenner was filming scenes with a crew for his upcoming reality show “I am Cait.” The documentary will be divided into eight episodes detailing Jenner’s transition into a woman. According to E Online, the one hour docu-series “will also explore what Cait's transition means” for all those he cared about and how those relationships are being affected with his transition.
The “I Am Cait” fan page in Facebook, with its posts all dedicated to Caitlyn Jenner and his transformation as a woman, has now received over 37 thousand likes. Users have pooled in their support and messages of encouragement for the former Olympian during his transition process.
According to Mirror UK, Caitlyn Jenner was spotted in public following his Twitter post where he reportedly encouraged other transgender people in the world to stand up for themselves. Jenner shared a photo where he’s seen embracing a group of female friends. Caitlyn captioned the photo, “Learn from those who have walked the path before you.”
Despite his transition into a woman, a source told People that Caitlyn Jenner is still allowing his children to call him “dad” at least for now. However, the source added he would rather want to be called Caitlyn instead of Bruce. But this request would reportedly take some time for his mother Esther, as she has been calling him Bruce since the day he was born. Esther said she may find it hard at first to address her son with a female name but assured that she will eventually adjust.
