When reality star Bruce Jenner told Diane Sawyer about his transition into a woman, he said that he was terrified to hurt his family especially his children. His two ex-wives Chrystie Scott and Linda Thompson gave their positive statements to ABC but his most recent wife claims that she wasn’t approached for a comment. In a two-part special soon to be aired on E, Kris Jenner gets tearful as she discusses the transition with her daughter Kim Kardashian.

E Online shared a short clip from an upcoming special entitled "Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce." The clip shows Kim as she comforts Kris who is tearfully sharing exactly how she has been affected by Bruce and his new gender identity. "I have these memories of this life, and I feel sometimes like it didn't exist," says Kris.

Kris and Bruce have been in each other’s lives for 25 years and were married for about 23 of them. They have separated two years ago and finalised their divorce last year. They have since remained focused on being good parents to their children both biological and otherwise.

The pair raised two biological children together, Kendall and Kylie Jenner. Likewise, Bruce stood as a stepfather to the four older Kardashian children, Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Robert. All four are Kris’ kids from an earlier marriage to prominent lawyer Robert Kardashian.

Bruce also has four other biological children from his two ex-wives. Cassandra, Burt, Brandon and Brody Jenner. They were either interviewed or gave their statements to ABC for the Diane Sawyer special.

None of Kris Jenner’s kids gave official statements on the ABC show but nevertheless, they have all expressed their support through social media and various interviews. Kim Kardashian comforts her mom in the E Online video and tries to help her think positive and move forward.

"He has to deal with this for his entire life of waking up and feeling like 'whoa, this isn't my body. This doesn't feel comfortable. You really have to like let go." says Kim. Incidentally, Bruce told Sawyer that it was Kim who was the easiest to talk to and most accepting of his situation. He says that Kim’s husband Kanye West helped her understand how important it is to be able to live an authentic life.

More about the Kardashians’ and the Jenners’ reactions and their personal struggles with the transition will be seen when the E special airs. The show will be called “Keeping Up With the Kardashians: About Bruce.” The first part will air on Sunday, May 17 at 9 pm. Pert two follows the next evening, May 18 also at 9 pm only on E.
