With a week after the release of "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare" finally coming in, there's still much to explore about the title. But developer Sledgehammer Games is already hard at work with the next update for the game.

"Our commitment to continuing to support the game and community is as strong as ever, and we have the whole team focused on making the experience the best it can be," said Sledgehammer Games' Michael Condrey via the official website.

Detailing what's to come with the newest update, Sledgehammer Games mentions including polish items, fixes and changes that came straight from community feedback. Expect some of the following improvements soon, as that is how far the developer is willing to divulge in terms of timelines:

- Prestige reset issues, including emblems and challenges

- Adjustments to the in-game chat names notifications placement

- Connectivity optimization

- Fix for stats accumulating towards leaderboards after prestiging

- Adjustment to challenges to unlock Camos for weapons

- Fix for round-based game modes, affecting Win/Loss ratios

- Implemented ability to unlock eSports Rule options in Private Match

The Truth About Supply Drops

Supply drops have been a new addition that came with "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare." However, not everyone appears to fully understand how the feature works, and how they can expect the loot that comes with Supply Drops without leaving it to chance.

Redditor JV2017 has seen an official update from Activision on what Supply Drops really are, and how they work in the game. Linking Activision's official description on what Supply Drops are, it seems that there are three ways to enjoy the loot. The first is through the Campaign Mode, where you need to go through some checkpoints where you can earn them or complete objectives to see them.

The second is through the Exo Survival Mode. By unlocking tiers and completing areas in the mode, you can earn some Supply Drops. The last way to do this is through Multiplayer, and this may be the easiest, as you naturally earn them by playing matches in Multiplayer.

But the clincher here is that you can only use the Supply Drop items that you have obtained in the Campaign or Exo Survival modes in the Multiplayer mode. Some of these loots include weapons, character gear and reinforcements in the form of EXP boosts, rapid supply and orbital care package.

COD Sets A Guinness World Record

The records have been released for the Guinness World Records, and "Call of Duty" has bested a handful of titles for the record of best video game series. The list includes "Pokemon," "The Elder Scrolls" and, yes, even "Grand Theft Auto."

IGN reports that while "Call of Duty" has snagged the top spot, some of the more known titles come a close rank, including "Super Mario Bros." at the second, "Minecraft" at third place, "Grand Theft Auto" at fourth and "Halo" at the fifth rank. The games have been ranked from the top to the 50th best game, the list of which can be seen in the link above.

Also, the source states that the record was based on the response of 5,000 fans of the book who are based in 140 countries around the world. The results were obtained via an online poll for favourite games, with the top 50 making it to the Guinness World Records 2015.
