‘Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire’ Features a New Live-Action TV Spot; New Bundle Detailed
A new trailer has been released for "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire." This new TV commercial is a 30-second short that combines live-action with some of the new features in the game.
It's an advert made especially for kids, as some of the Pokemon's powers are showcased in the short ad. It even shows off the powers of the Mega Latios and emphasizes the new Soar feature.
The Soar feature has been introduced by the official website, which allows your characters to conquer the one field that previous Pokemon games have not allowed so far-to fly through the skies. To do this, you need the Eon Flute, which can be obtained while going through you "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" adventure.
Using the Eon Flute will let you summon the Latios or Latias wherever you are. And from there, you can alight on its back and just soar towards the sky. What's even better is that while in the air, you may also encounter some Pokemons which you can battle or catch while midair. These can be seen in the screens in the link above.
The Soar feature may also be used to find mirage spots in "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sappphire." These are areas where you can find rare Pokemons that are nowhere else in the entire region. Mirage spots also house valuable items and even Legendary Pokemons. Since mirage spots can only appear once certain conditions are met, Nintendo has yet to divulge more information about the new feature. But according to the official website, you can find mirage spots in clouds or small islands.
For those who are looking to buy "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" to experience the remade Hoenn region in both games, there's a dual pack being sold exclusively by Best Buy that may be up your alley. While you can't exactly count on a discounted price, Joystiq has obtained a press release that announces how players can expect 100 potions for each of the games.
This will make your Hoenn re-journey even more fun and easier, as the download codes will only come with this dual pack. The pack costs $80, which is still the price of both the titles, but given the 100 potions per game, it's still a good deal. The "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" is also available for order over at Amazon.com.
