Capcom will yet again allow players to get a hands-one experience of “Street Fighter V” really soon. The new beta phase will allow players to use some of the new characters introduced to the anticipated title, but it will also omit some of the characters available in the previous beta period.

In a post made at Capcom-Unity, the first beta to become available is the PlayStation 4 version of “Street Fighter V” which will become available at Oct. 21 at 6:00 pm PT. As reported before, the beta will give players access to Ken, Necalli, Vega and R. Mika. However, Ryu, Chun-Li, Nash, Cammy, M. Bison and Birdie will not be part of the new beta test.

After a day, the servers of the “Street Fighter V” beta will be taken down momentarily and will be brought back up on Oct. 23 at 7:00 AM PT. When the servers return, newcomer Rashid will be available for play. Also being made available on Oct. 23 is cross-platform play which allows both PC and consoles to battle against each other. Karin Kanzuki will also be made available on the evening of Oct. 23.

Lastly, the servers will once again be taken down on Oct. 24. It will be taken down for a scheduled maintenance but players will not have to wait too long as the servers will be back up on the same date. The beta period will last through Oct. 25 at 4:00 PM PT. However, Capcom does note that the schedule is still subject to change.

Capcom has also warned players that there could be issues with the game as it is still in the beta phase. The first beta period of “Street Fighter V” was subjected to several connectivity issues, IGN reports. It is likely that Capcom has done fixes to the issues from before.
