Cara Delevingne Confirms 'Love' For Girlfriend Musician St. Vincent
Cara Delevingne finally used the word “love” to pertain to Annie Clark (stage name St. Vincent), her current girlfriend. She added that her love for Annie fuels her love for herself.
Cara Deleivingne’s attraction to girls made headlines when she and Michellle Rodriguez admitted to dating each other and public displayed their attraction to each other. When they broke up, Cara kept mum about her love life until she is speculated to be dating Annie Clark. After months of speculations, the model turned actress now confirms with Vogue that Annie is her girlfriend and she loves her. She added that to be vocal about her romantic feelings is a revelation, even for her. "I think that being in love with my girlfriend is a big part of why I’m feeling so happy with who I am these days,” the “Paper Towns” actress told Vogue in its July issue. "And for those words to come out of my mouth is actually a miracle."
On the same interview, Cara talked of denying to herself that she might be gay but ultimately accepting the fact when she fell in love with a woman when she was 20. Interesting on her part however is that she only have erotic dreams about men. She detailed how she recently dreamt of jumping a man on a minivan, even though his friends were all there.
While she just confirmed her love for Annie, she is not closing her doors to the idea of falling in love with a man, marrying him, and becoming pregnant with his children. She however said that the whole idea of settling down with a man “scares her to death.” She truly believes that a man would just leave her when they got to know who she really is.
Prior to this interview however, Cara allegedly already made her strong feelings felt by St. Vincent through a “proposal note.” Annie herself took to her Instagram (as reported by Out Magazine) and posted a picture of a note with “Marry Me Annie Clark” scribbled on it. She captioned the photo with “ok…,” as if she is responding to the proposal.
