Caroline Wozniacki is the latest tennis star to appear in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Donning a pair of sexy white bikinis, Wozniacki displayed her well-toned physique in a series of shots for the annual edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Wozniacki revealed that modeling for the magazine’s annual swimsuit edition couldn’t have come at a better time. She said that she didn’t really need go through calorie-burning workouts and futile exercises because she has been playing a lot of sports, which in turn, helped her achieve a bikini-ready body in no time.
“When I found out I was going to be in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, it was a perfect time for me,” Wozniacki said. “I was training for the marathon, I was playing tennis, I was playing tournaments, so I felt like my body was in great shape and I was super excited.”
According to the Dane, posing for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue was something that she has always to do for a long time. She said she was just happy to be able to live her dream and pose for the magazine.
Wozniacki said she liked all the pictures that Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue resident photographer Walter Iooss Jr. took, from balancing off a railing to doing a pirouette while walking. However, there is one particular picture that she really loved. She said that her favorite shot was the one taken at the beach just before the sun sets.
The photo session took place at Captiva Island in the Gulf of Mexico in November 2014. Aside from Wozniacki, Ultimate Fighting Championship women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is also featured on the latest edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
