Yesterday, news broke of Microsoft's next generation console Xbox One having voice features that enabled gamers to talk to the console. Now it seems that players can witness this on launch.

The much-awaited game Call of Duty: Ghosts is reported to have this voice feature via Kinect, and even its publisher Activision is all gushes when it comes to the project.

According to Computer and Video Games, Eric Hirshberg, chief executive at Activision, was all praises due to the responsiveness and detail of the game. It seems that as far as Ghosts is concerned, the Xbox One's many features are more than just mere gimmick.

So will this voice feature enhance your COD gaming, or will it be a bother due to the many still un-clarified notions surrounding the Xbox One?

"We always make sure that it makes the gamplay better. In this case, we think it will, said Hirshberg to Computer and Video Games.

In addition, given that Xbox One is maximizing its next-gen features, the next question that comes to mind is just how PlayStation 4 will respond to such an advanced technology incorporated in the gameplay?

Will gamers see Ghosts' functionalities via the PS4 Eye camera? Or will Xbox One win this round?

The Last of Us announces Season Pass

After announcing its duo of special editions--Ellie Edition and Joel Edition boxed sets--it seems that Naughty Dog is planning to offer more for the upcoming post-apocalyptic game.

Following the rumor from last week, PlayStation Lifestyle reports that the rumors can now be confirmed as a fact, due to a source that has confirmed retailer GameStop making reservations for the Season Pass.

In fact, the release date is already pegged for June 14. Given that it's almost the month of June anyway, the official announcement from Naughty Dog will likely come in a few weeks so you can get your hands on the Season Pass.

No customization plans for Battlefield 4 multiplayer

Reports have been cropping up of the capability to customize your character's gender and facial characteristics in the upcoming Battlefield 4. This came following an ad that not only details customization of "gender and facial features" but as well as fighting your way up the ranks with real-time awards and having injury suppression.

However, upon consulting with Electronic Arts, VG 24/7 has confirmed that the ad is not legitimate, and that there are no plans on this regard whatsoever for the game.

Hopefully, Battlefield 4 does have other legitimate announcements related to their upcoming release in October, especially now that it has been revealed that Battlefield 4 will be coming to the next-generation consoles, Xbox One and PS4.
