It looks like country singer Taylor Swift has a new man in her life and he is definitely the "Lucky One." Is Zac Efron the new inspiration for another love song by TSwift?

The two have been caught out in public enjoying a private dinner for two. The "New Year's Eve" hunk drove out on his Audi along with Swfit, and headed out for dinner at an L.A. Italian eatery.

Onlookers reveal that it wasn't the food alone that the duo enjoyed but each other's company as well. Swift and Efron were apparently caught in a "deep conversation" and both were "very giggly." Though it wasn't the first time these two were caught out in public casually flirting.

Back in 2009, Efron who'd recently split with longtime girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens, complimented on the country singer. He called Taylor a "lovely girl" and said she was "very beautiful." If that wasn't enough to raise a few eyebrows and speculations, then Taylor Swifts answer to that was equally interesting.

In December of 2010, the singer after being dumped by actor, Jake Gyllenhaal, gushed about the former Disney star. Swift called Efron an "all-around amazing guy."

As much as a few want these two to finally take a chance on a relationship more than friendship, it most likely isn't going to happen. The two have been friends for quite a while and though they've been casually flirting and showering each other with compliments. Both Swift and Efron are on different wavelengths.

However, it still doesn't explain their dinner date but not so fast because an insider reveals that the dinner wasn't so intimate after all.

"They were in LA doing press stuff together, and after they were done, they decided to grab dinner," shared the insider. Of course being co-stars in the upcoming film, "Dr. Seuss' The Lorax", it's no surprise as to why these two were seen in public together Jan. 6.

So Taylor is still the "unlucky girl" when it comes to love but maybe if Zac checks out her photos on Vogue, he'd rethink not wanting to actually ask Swift out on an actual date.
