Cyanogenmod 12S Update For OnePlus One To Begin Shortly, While OnePlus 2 Release Postponed To Late-2015

The flagship killer “OnePlus One” smartphone will reportedly receive the long-awaited CyanogenMod 12S update shortly. Apparently, the OnePlus’ co-founder announced that the new ROM update has been certified by Google.
The CyanogenMod 12S update for OnePlus One was initially planned to be rolled out on March 27. However, that plan did not work out for the company. But then, the Chinese tech giant however managed to roll out the new OxygenOS for the OnePlus One. On the other hand, the company is also apparently working on the Android 5.1 Lollipop update for the One. And all these updates will be combined with the CyanogenMod 12S release, notes GSM Arena.
And technically, the CyanogenMod 12S release update will reportedly bring in enhanced privacy and permission controls. Furthermore, the brand new LiveDisplay will apparently be the go-to menu option for customising the display as required.
In the meantime, the OnePlus One successor dubbed the “OnePlus 2” has been rumoured for a while now. However, the OnePlus 2 release date has reportedly been postponed to late-2015, notes Master Herald. And when it comes to OnePlus 2 specifications, the handset will reportedly sport a 5.5-inch display in combination with a killer 1,440 x 2,560 pixels Quad HD screen resolution. Under the hood, the phone will reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor, notes Know Your Mobile. To up the ante, the handset will reportedly be backed by a killer 4 GB of RAM configuration.
When it comes to camera specification, the device will apparently house a 16 MP rear-facing unit, along with a gracious 5 MP front-facing shooter. Speaking of memory specification, the device is believed to come equipped with 32 GB of storage. And lastly, the entire configuration will be held together and powered by a good 3,300 mAh battery unit. With respect to OnePlus 2 features, the device is expected to come with dual-SIM support and microSD card slot for further expansion, writes Phone Arena. In any case, readers should note that, the company has not confirmed the OnePlus 2 specifications, release date and features thus far.

@getpeid Hi Carl! can you tell anything about Cyanogen OS12 release date to the OnePlus One? Souldn't it be out already?

We've learned it's irresponsible to give ETA's when we're not sure. Let's do probabilities (rollout start): today 75%, Tue 15%, Wed 10%
