Reality star Kim Zolciak-Biermann suffered a mini-stroke and was forced to leave “Dancing With The Stars” with pro partner Tony Dovolani.

Zolciak-Biermann’s withdrawal from the competition was announced on Monday night’s episode of “Dancing With The Stars.” Her health issue stemmed from a blood clot that she had sustained after last week’s episode of the show. TMZ reported that Zolciak-Biermann has never been diagnosed with a health issue.

“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star experienced numbness in the left side of the body on Wednesday, and has been advised by doctors to rest at her home in Atlanta.

On Monday night, in her absence, Dovolani performed their samba with another pro dancer, Jenna Johnson. Zolciak-Biermann, however, made her presence felt on the show via a Skype appearance, and she said that she misses being on the show after practising for hours.

“I feel really great. I don’t know if you know but I rehearsed on Saturday. I learned the whole dance that Jenna did. And then my doctor told me yesterday it’s too soon to fly,” she said.

Zolciak-Biermann insisted that she’s okay and would like to continue dancing in the competition for a few more days. However, “Dancing With Stars” host Tom Bergeron explained that anyone who misses the show due to injury or health problems need to withdraw from the competition.

Meanwhile, Zolciak-Biermann uploaded a video on Instagram shortly after her Skype appearance. The video shows her rehearsing with Dovolani for their supposed Monday performance.

“I practiced for hours Saturday I was so excited to be there tonight! I just needed a few more days and then I'm cleared to fly! _#ImReallySad #ImStrong,” she captioned the video.

Zolciak-Biermann told ET through a statement that she’s thankful for the love and support she received during her stay in the competition.

“I am now home with my family, resting and taking care of my health. I can’t express enough how much I love dancing and this whole experience, and I hope this will not be the end of dancing,” she said.

Meanwhile, Dovolani tried talking to management to bend the rules but his request was denied, ET added.
