Demi Lovato revealed in a radio interview with Sydney's Kyle and Jackie O that she is grateful for boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama's undying support as she deals with her issues. The famed singer-actress had been struggling with drug abuse, alcohol misuse, self-harm and bulimia for years now.

The couple had been dating on and off for a long time now, beginning around 2010. According to a Yahoo! News report, Lovato credited her 35-year-old beau for standing firm amid her issues, telling her to pull herself together and to fight her addictions off: "What he would do is he wouldn't enable me so he'd say, 'I can't be around if you're not going to get your stuff together.'" Lovato decided to let go of her addictions and stay sober in 2010, when she decided to undergo rehab. She had always been open about her road to recovery.

Yesterday the singer posted on Instagram a wacky photoshopped photo of her "first blaze" in celebration of 4/20, the unofficial holiday that honors marijuana use. It featured herself and a couple of her fellow former Disney teen stars, her BFF Miely Cyrus and ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas, enjoying a joint.

Lovato has been clean for years, so it is likely the post is merely fueled by nostalgia. She wrote in the caption: "In honor of our former escapades, I thought you'd like this to remember your first blaze..Happy #420 @joejonas. #disneyhighclassof09." The two singers tagged in the post had yet to respond.

Lovato is back on the road, well on her way for the Oceania Leg of her Demi World Tour. The singer is currently in Australia, having just recently closed her concert in Perth and Sydney. Having always struggled with body image issues, she bashed the unrealistic beauty standards about thigh gaps and flaunted her beautiful 'latina curves', Latin Times stated. She is scheduled to perform in the Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne this coming Friday and in Auckland, New Zealand on the 26th.
