The journey towards the release of “Destiny” expansion pack “House of Wolves” continues. And this week, there are two events that fans can look forward to.

First, Iron Banner is making its return on April 28. It begins at 10:00 a.m. Pacific time. According to Ubergizmo, the Iron Banner will bear the changes made to the Crucible following the “Destiny” 1.1.2 update. This means that the changes in ammo will also be seen in the upcoming Iron Banner. Those who will be participating in the Iron Banner should note that it will be accessible via the featured activities tab on the left side, rather than the Crucible menu.

As teased by developer Bungie before, the reveal of The Reef was just the first of the scheduled events leading to the launch of the “house of Wolves DLC. This week, specifically on April 29 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific Time, the Trials of Osiris will be revealed in another Bungie Twitch live stream.

One detail that was not included in the live stream is the Commendations, which used to be involved with character progression and upgrades. The changes will be brought via the Update 1.2.0. That means the removal of the required Crucible Commendation, which previously was needed to acquire new weapons or gear. According to Bungie, “Destiny” players who still have some of them around can use them for reputation to fast-track promotion and get more reward packages.

On the issue of updates, Gamingbolt also spotted some new information via Reddit. Apparently, one Twitch streamer who goes by the name of Enraged Cinema managed to stumble upon some new details for “House of Wolves.”

Without going into detail, the source claims that there will be a new set of modifiers with the expansion. There is no word yet on what these modifiers will be, though fans are already speculating and voicing out what they want for “Destiny.” While the Kinectic Burn is reportedly one of the most requested, fans of “Destiny” who have also enjoyed their time with “Halo” are also looking at possible Halo-inspired modifiers.

So far, these are not yet official details. It’s possible that Bungie will reveal more information leading to the May 19 release date of “House of Wolves,” so best to keep an eye out for that.
