Update: Bungie has finally confirmed microtransactions coming to "Destiny" Year Two via Eververse Trading Company.

“Destiny” players are slowly discovering he secrets brought about by The Taken King expansion. While Bungie opened up the chance for more players to take a shot at receiving the Black Spindle exotic Sniper rifle, another new questline was unearthed.

This time, the quest features an interesting reward, dubbed as The First Curse. Some fans have been able to discover the new quest, which happens once the player reaches rank 5. One redditor icevenom has detailed the steps on how to get The First Curse.

It reportedly starts with the Imprecations quest following the player reaching the Rank 5 on Gunsmith. The player will then need to get the Hand Cannon kills using the Primary or Hand Cannon Telemetry active. Once this is done, the player will need to talk to the Banshee-44 at the tower.

The next step will require waiting for the next Armsday arrival, which happens on the Wednesday of every week. The player will need to wait for the Tex Mechanica’s delivery, before heading back to the Banshee-44 at the tower.

The third step is to infuse the weapon, execute kill sprees and go to Cruicible for a precision kill spree. There are a few details to take note of in this step. Seven kill sprees are needed for any type. For the precision kill sprees, another seven batch featuring three kills with precision damage. This can be completed using Control game type and by using ranged weapons.

After this, the player will need to go to the Banshee-44 again, wait for another Tex Mechanica Armsday delivery, head back to the Banshee one more time and see The First Curse drop there. The First Curse will come with Gunsmith Rep and Experience.

Planet Destiny added that The First Curse is from Tex Mechanica, bearing an attack rate of 290. The upside of getting The First Curse is that it will enable players to get precision kills when using the aim down sights, as this increases the range and stability before the next reload. At the same time, the Dead Eye gives bonus to range, movement speed and stability, again when using the aim down sights.

This week’s Bungie weekly update on “Destiny” also highlights a few more issues involving The Taken King. The developer has detailed a few which have been resolved. One of these is the issue involving Suros Arsenal Pack and Hakke Weapons Pack on the Xbox, though Bungie hinted that some items will have to be re-installed. Vanguard Streaks are now also earnable while in Strike playlists, as it takes the place of the Nightfall reward “Radiant Light.”

Finally, for those who have been using the Armsday orders, Bungie has also acknowledged some issues involving lost orders. Some fans are experiencing issues where they cannot redeem weapons from the Character Inventory. One tip that the “Destiny” developer gave is to ensure that players only redeem their Armsday orders from the Gunsmith in the Tower.
