‘Diablo III Reaper Of Souls' 'Ultimate Evil Edition' Available Now On PlayStation 3, PS4, Xbox 360 And Xbox One

Blizzcon saw the reveal several new updates for Blizzard’s hit titles. The company also showed support for some of its titles that have long been released. One of which is a new patch for the top-down RPG “Diablo 3,” which is now scheduled to receive several bug fixes and features in an upcoming update.

The next major update for “Diablo 3” was first revealed on a Blizzcon panel but Blizzard’s Battle.net has since fully detailed the content of the update for the game. Highlights of the 2.4.0 update included a new area, revamped item sets and new Legendary equipment.

The new zone is called Greyhollow Island. It is an area only accessible in Act V. There will be new enemies in the area as well as a new story to explore. In the topic of new areas, two existing stages in the game will expanded once the update hits. The Eternal Woods and Royal Quarters will both be expanded, making way for new storylines and quest. However, the Royal Quarters areas will be available only after players have cleared a blockade in Leoric’s underground location.

Equipment-wise, the 2.4.0 update will revamp all of the 24 class sets. All of which will received stat tweaks and more. Also, upon completing a set, players will now be given clues and hints to locate a special Set Dungeon. These Set Dungeons are slated to test the player and his new equipment set. Players should be forewarned that these areas are particularly difficult.

Other new features to be brought in the update are the new Empowered rifts and a list of Legendary equipments. The rifts will give players the ability to swap their unused gold for strong pieces of equipment. The new Legendaries on the other hand will be over 40 new weapons for the game’s classes. The update will launch on either late November or early December, Dualshockers reports.
