Eyes may be turned to the major and upcoming game titles in time for the E3 2014, but that doesn't exclude the progress that is ongoing for some well-loved games in the background.

This week, three games are getting new DLCs, missions, and an appearance from a criminal mastermind in a TV series that many love.

The Lost Crowns Trilogy Debuts for "Dark Souls 2"

Three new DLC chapters will be coming out for "Dark Souls" as part of The Lost Crowns trilogy season pass. Bandai Namco Games and developer FromSoftware has announced that the season pass is already out, and will serve as a way for players to explore more enemies and take on challenges for "Dark Souls 2."

"We are pleased to offer this new 'Dark Souls' experience with The Lost Crowns trilogy to players seeking for more challenges!" said Herve Hoedt, VP of IP Strategy, Marketing and PR for Bandai Namco Games Europe over at their official web site. "With this Season Pass, Bandai Namco Games is pleased to extend the Dark Souls experience over this summer."

The first chapter, titled "Crown of the Sunken King" will be out by July 22 for Europe and Australasia for the Xbox 360 and PC, while PS3 players can get it the next day. The second chapter, "Crown of the Old Iron King" will debut on August 26 (Xbox 360/PC) and 27 (PS3), while the final chapter, "Crown of the Ivory King" will be out on September 23 (Xbox 360 and PC) and 24 (PS3).

New Missions Coming with "Drakengard 3" DLC

Polygon has spotted a new DLC heading for "Drakengard 3," which adds story missions and new chapters in the Sister Prologues. In an extra chapter, there's even the chance for players to take on the role of Zero.

Each of the Prologues chapter costs $5.99, but as a bundle, you can get One's chapter as well for $29.99. There are also costume skins available for $2.99, which includes Furiae's Garb to reduce damage or Eris's Garb to lessen the loss of stamina when guarding from attacks.

"Payday 2" DLC Features Fring of "Breaking Bad"

The Chicken Man, Gustavo Fring, from popular series "Breaking Bad" is paying a visit to "Payday 2" in the most recent DLC slated to release for the game.

Developer Overkill Software has just released a new trailer featuring "The Dentist," which introduces Giancarlo Esposito's newest character.

He will be the new contact for the upcoming DLC, The Big Bank Heist for "Payday 2," coming to retail downloads on June 17.

The DLC is a teaser, as E3 2014 will let attendees be the "first to break the big bank." Check out the trailer below to see the "Breaking Bad" criminal mastermind.
