‘Dragon Age Inquisition’ DLC hints at ‘Dragon Age 4,’ Bioware releases Solas character kit

The “Dragon Age: Inquisition” Trespasser DLC may have provided a nice wrap-up for the title, but it also serves as a good foundation for developer Bioware’s plan for the game. While fans have sighted some new features and romances included in the DLC, there are now reports that it also gives a hint at where the story will go next come “Dragon Age 4.”
Eurogamer reported that the story was left open at the end, so readers may want to beware of spoilers following this. According to the source, “Dragon Age 4” may see the Inquisitor banding a new group to search for Solas. This is despite The Inquisitor’s run-in with amputation, which is believed to be an unavoidable fate in the “Dragon Age: Inquisition” DLC. In addition, the new group may be looking forward to starting the search for Solas in the Tevinter Imperium.
The clue comes in the DLC’s parting shot, wherein the Inquisitor had reportedly marked the site on the map with a knife. This is not an impossible site for the next installment, considering how the area has not yet been visited in the game. If this clue actually holds close to Bioware’s plans, speculations from fans are sure to arise.
Sadly, the studio is currently busy with “Mass Effect: Andromeda,” its other major title that has been promised to release late 2016. Given that timeline, “Dragon Age 4” or whatever the next game will be called, may still be far in the future.
With all that time left for fans to ruminate over possible “What if” scenarios for the future of “Dragon Age,” Bioware has released the latest character kit. The new kit seems apt for the “Dragon Age: Inquisition” Trespasser DLC, as it features Solas, the controversial character.
The Solas character kit is already available over at the official Bioware Blog. It is the latest of many character kits released by the developer. The character kits serve as a way for fans to make the character of “Dragon Age: Inquisition” come to life, whether in illustration, cosplay or other fan creations. Previously released character kits include Cassandra and Varric, Cole, Cullen, Dorian, Iron Bull, Josephine, Leliana, Morrigan, Sera and Vivienne.
