‘Star Wars Battlefront’ PS4 exclusive bundle and a chance to go to PAX Australia announced by EA
PS4 players of “Star Wars Battlefront” who are also very much into the lore of the “Star Wars” universe can rejoice. EA has announced a limited edition version of the “Star Wars Battlefront” PS4 bundle featuring none other than the villainous Darth Vader.
The new bundle sees a 500GB PS4 console etched with the image of the masked villain. But as an add-on the DualShock 4 controller is also fashioned to show off Darth Vader’s red lightsaber via the D-pad buttons, as seen in the video below.
According to the official “Star Wars Battlefront” website, the bundle will also feature classic games, including “Star Wars: Racer Revenge,” “Super Star Wars,” “Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter” and “Star Wars Bounty Hunter.” This is on top of the “Star Wars: Battlefront” title.
The limited edition “Star Wars Battlefront’ PS4 bundle costs $449.99 (approx. AU$630). But for fans who do not want to shell out that much but still want the “Star Wars Battlefront” treatment to their consoles, EA is also offering the standard edition of the PS4. While the PS4 console and controller are not customized, it comes with the five games mentioned above. The price is considerably lower as well at $399.99 (approx AU$560).
Another related contest from EA will see 20 fans riding a customized “Star Wars Battlefront” bus to PAX Australia. According to IGN, EA is holding a new contest for the ultimate road trip. Ten winners will be able to bring one friend each for the bus ride from Sydney to Melbourne and back on the “Star Wars Battlefront” Bus. In addition, all 20 fans will get two-day passes to PAX Australia for the Friday and Saturday events. Accommodation will also be included when the fans arrive in Melbourne City.
All aspiring winners only have to answer in 25 words or less the question: “Why should you be on the #StarWarsBattlefrontBus to PAX Australia?” The contest ends on Oct. 7. Fans can dive into “Star Wars Battlefront” at PAX Australia, which will be playable at the event.
