E3 2012: New Games That You Should For Part 1
Game company EA announced the new line up of games that it will be releasing in the near future at the Electric Entertainment Expo 2012.
It is the day one of the E3 Convention. Aside from introduction of new games, EA also announced updates and enhancements of the games that are already released in the public.
Some of the amazing news that hit the E3 2012 is you can now play Sim City on Facebook. For sports games, Microsoft announced the imminent release of Madden NFL '13 and FIFA '13, which are becoming more powerful with Kinect. During a demo of both games the formations of players were changed by voice command using the Kinect.
Joe Montana also took the stage to demo Madden NFL 13, which Microsoft says marks its biggest investment in franchise history. "This is actually pretty sweet," Montana said after giving the game a test drive on the stage.
Electric Entertainment Expo 2012 or known as E3 2012 is an annual trade show for computer and video games. This year's event is currently taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center from June 5 to June 7.
Below is the list of new games to be released by EA Games.
Dead Space 3 - A sequel of the Dead Space series and is set to be released in February 2013.
Madden 2013 - The popular football game is now equipped with Infinity Engine. The game is expanded to include Connected Career feature that allows a player in the game to earn points and achieve different career milestones, ultimately earning a place in the Hall of Fame. Hall of Fame NFL player Michael Irvine demonstrated this feature. The game will be available this fall.
Sim City - Sim City Social will soon be invading Facebook. The new Sim City will be a multi-player game and will include constructable worlds, simulation and data visualization.
Battlefield 3 - EA released a premium version of the game with a total of five expansion packs. The expansion packs include will offer hundreds of additional hours of gameplay as well as new vehicles, maps, and more. The five packs will be released over the next 9 months with the first available today.
Star Wars: The Old Republic - A sequel to the Star Wars series. This one includes a new planet and new species. The game will be launched in July.
Medal of Honor Warfighter - The game will introduce 12 global fighters and is set to be released in October 23.
FIFA 2013 - FIFA players will still love the new version of this soccer game. Mobile versions of the game will come to iPhone, iPad and Android that will enable the players to connect to the FIFA Football Club.
UFC - EA and UFC signed a deal that will pave the way of the creation of various UFC fighting games.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted - Players can now earn speed points with the ultimate goal of becoming "Most Wanted." The game will be launched on October 30.
Crysis 3 - A sequel to the popular Crysis series that includes new levels and allow users to choose their path and weapons.
