No More Real-Money Auction House on Diablo 3?: Where to get Items
RPG giant Blizzard delayed the launch of the real-money auction house in Diablo 3 where players can buy some of the items needed to complete the game.
Moreover, Blizzard is working on the tweaks and modifications to improve the service stability of the game and to prevent crashes on the server like what happened on the first week of release of Diablo 3.
"Moving forward, additional server maintenances will be required - and sometime next week, we plan to release a game update in the form of a patch that will further address client issues and apply additional bug fixes," Blizzard said in its Battle.net post.
Just hours after the game was released, gamers complain about the errors. Gamers found it difficult to enter the game's servers due to the overwhelming numbers of users. This left a lot of gamers disappointed. However, Blizzard quickly enacted on the issue and resolve the dilemma with the servers.
There is no definite date yet as when Blizzard is going to launch its real-money auction houses.
Where to Get Items
Hunting and picking up items is one of the sources of the adrenaline rush in the game. It is one of the cores of the game and it makes playing more exciting. Here are some of the places where you can get some of the items.
Creatures - One of the exciting parts of playing Diablo 3 is being able to bash creatures that you will meet as you go on with your quest. These creatures drop items or loots that players can pick up. The stronger the creature, the rarer the items that it drops.
Personal Item Drops - One of the improvements in the game is the private drops. There will be no more stealing from another character as each character in this multiplayer game only sees the items drop that they can only pick up. Players will be seeing lesser items from now on.
Dropped Items - Players will drop some items due to limited space in the storage. This become visible to other players and will give them a chance to pick it up.
Gold-Based Auction House - While the real-money auction house is not up yet in the game, the gold-based auction house is a place where you can buy some of the items that you may need in your quest. Gold is already part of the loot that you can pick up in the game. Players, however, can choose between a "gold" auction house, where payments are made in virtual gold coins, or real money. There is also a "hardcore only" gold auction house.
