Skyrim is all about developing your character, while also assuming that, in a harsh reality where Dragons and wildlife encounters are inevitable and highly likely, you should equip yourself with the necessary items that can aid in your quests.

Cheat Code Central presents three useful cheats and tricks to help you gain a good deal of arrows, easy gold at the start of Skyrim, and even a loyal companion who can help keep your health up against minor enemies.

Get easy money for chopping wood

Money-or in this case, gold-also makes the world run smoother in Skyrim, which is why easy gold, without having to resort to violence that may affect your overall gameplay, is a useful technique.

An easy way to immediately get gold at the start of the game would be to find Hod once you get to the first town of Riverwood. You'll usually find him at the sawmill when it's day time.

Hod will ask you to chop as much wood as you can for him with pay. Put your wood chopping skills to good use, as you can chop and sell as much wood as you can to him, as he will never run out of gold, being a merchant. You can repeat this process as many times as you want.

Infinite arrows for battle

Arrows will go a long way when you find yourself in long-range combats. You can boost your leverage by opting for infinite arrows. All you need to do is find someone who is shooting target dummies. Pickpocket them and take the arrows that he is using.

Give him the type of arrow you prefer to have (steel or iron, take your pick). They will use this to go back to shooting the target dummy, this time replenishing the type of arrow you want to have. Just get the arrows once they hit the target dummy. You can get as many as you want to have.

There is another way to get infinite arrows and gain more help during battles. This will happen once you conquer the first dragon and become the Thane of Whiterun. Trade the arrow of your choice with him, remove his sword, and give him a bow.

Because of this, every time you go to battle, multiple arrows will be fired based on the type that you traded for. Then, when everything's done, simply collect the arrows to gain more.

Get an invincible dog for health assistance

Health is valuable in Skyrim, which is why you need to take as much precaution and preparation as you can to guard it. One way to help you ward off unnecessary health losses from enemies is to get an invincible dog with you on your travels.

Find Lod, the smith, in Falkreath, who will then seek your help to find his dog Barbas. Then head off outside the village where you'll find him. Barbas will lead you to the Shrine of Clavicus Vile, where you will speak to Daedra Lord.

You and Barbas will go through A Daedra's Best Friend, where, upon finishing, Barbas is now a quest item and cannot be killed.

What's great about having Barbas at your side is that he will instantly attack any enemy that tries to go near you, but whatever hit he takes, he will not lose any health.
