Eminem's protégé 50 Cent flaunts stacks of cash on Instagram post, months after declaring bankruptcy
Rapper 50 Cent stacks US $100 bills in his fridge despite claiming that he has gone bankrupt.
The rapper took to Instagram to give a glimpse of his refrigerator that had stacks of US dollars sharing space with cheese and vodka. This bizarre snap has raised questions about 50 Cent’s financial status.
“50centGotta keep a cool little $tash and some Effen Vodka Happy Holidays. #EFFENVODKA #FRIGO #SMSAUDIO,” he captioned the photograph. The rapper is the spokesman for the Dutch vodka brand and is even paid a part of its profits, according to News.com.au.
50 Cent A.K.A Curtis Jackson reportedly filed for bankruptcy earlier this year after he was ordered to pay millions in damages over a sex-tape case. The rapper lost a case against a Floridian woman, Lastonia Leviston, in July. He filed for bankruptcy just a few days after the Manhattan Supreme Court ordered him to pay US $7 million (AU $9.7 million) to Leviston.
Soon after the verdict, the singer announced that he was US $28 million in debt and also revealed that he exaggerated his lifestyle.
“It’s like music videos, they say ‘action’ and you see all these fancy cars, but everything goes back to the dealership,” 50 Cent revealed.
The “Get Rich or Die Tryin’” singer reportedly published Leviston's private sex tape online in order to seek revenge from arch rival Rick Ross. Ross and Leviston have a baby together, according to News.com.au. The father of two has taken a jibe on his own condition on previous occasions too. He a posted a pic on Instagram showing off his money almost a month back.
“50centMan this lunch money,I gotta go to work I'm still up, no Sleep at all. NEW MUSIC this week, Off The KANAN tape. #EFFENVODKA #FRIGO #SMSAUDIO,” read his previous Instagram post.
On being questioned about the pop artist’s recent Instagram post, 50 Cent’s lawyer Brett Kimmel said that he was not sure if it was 50’s fridge.
