Emma Watson Returns to Brown University in January 2013 [PHOTOS]
Emma Watson's representative has confirmed reports about the British actress' return to Brown University in January 2013 in order to finish her college degree. Back in March 2011, her busy filming and promotional schedule for the final "Harry Potter" film made Emma Watson temporarily set aside education. Now, the 22-year-old actress is determined to complete her undergraduate degree.
"I will still be working towards my degree. It's just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought," Watson said according to The UK Telegraph report.
Other movie projects have also been keeping the young actress from finishing her studies. After being cast in "The Perks of Being A Wallflower," Darren Aronofsky's "Noah" and "Bling Ring," Emma Watson had no choice but to sacrifice and wait until the right time comes for her to go back to school.
Meanwhile, being famous made it hard for Emma Watson to live a normal student life as she struggled with her studies at Brown University as well as going to public places.
"My first two years at Brown weren't easy, not because I was bullied or because anyone gave me a particularly hard time, but just because, you know, without the collegiate system and at Brown everyone does completely different things and very much chooses their own path, which is great, but it's also much more difficult, too. You're not with a group of people all the time at one time," Watson shared to UK Daily Telegraph.
In a 2009 interview for the Daily News, Emma Watson revealed that college experience sounds interesting.
"I just don't want to miss out on it. I think it's a great time to make friends. I think it's a great time to figure out who you are and what you like," Watson told Daily News.
