Factory-unlocked Samsung Galaxy S6 32 GB models in white pearl and platinum gold are now on sale for only US$429.99 (AU$609.63). Avid Samsung users who want to avail of this offer should do so now since the promo is only available for a limited time.

The current promo offers the cheapest price that the device has been sold for so far. It is also worth noting that this discount is even more affordable than Amazon's offer, which is US$534.60 or AU$757.94. The promo comes only a couple of weeks after the Galaxy S6 Edge was placed on sale as well.

Samsung's current flagship smartphones feature a new design language, which was clearly purposely made more in line with Apple's iPhones, according to Tech Times. The Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge make up the first line of S smartphones that seem to look less like its predecessors.

Both devices are packed with high-end specs. In addition to the top-of-the-line features, the handsets are also made of glass and metal, which gives the smartphones a more premium appeal.

The factory-unlocked Galaxy S6 features a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED screen display with 577 pixels per inch. It runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, which will be upgraded to the Android 6.0 Marshmallow in the following months. It features an Exynos 7420 64-bit octa-core processor, 32 GB of internal storage and 3 GB of RAM.

Samsung Galaxy S6 has a 16 megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilisation on its back and a 5 megapixel camera on its front. The device features a 2,600 mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge capabilities. Samsung claims that the Galaxy S6 can be used for up to 17 hours' worth of talk time.
