‘Fallout 4’ gets Park Rules video, ‘Fallout Shelter’ 1.7 update brings Special Event Quest
“Fallout” fans can enjoy some new updates for two titles, “Fallout 4” and the mobile and PC game “Fallout Shelter.”
With the “Fallout 4” Nuka-World expansion, developer Bethesda Softworks has released a new teaser video, which shows some park rules that players may want to observe while they are exploring the new environment.
Seen below, the trailer features Cappy and Bottle, the two new mascots unmistakably from the Nuka-World fun land. For the most part, Bottle gets the bad end of not following the rules.
Hilariously, the rules are pretty theme park-standard—but the consequences are a lot worse and bloody. Not following height restrictions ends up with a smash bottle top. Remaining in one’s seat until the ride is complete is necessary, but the rush of cars is almost unexpected by the end of the commercial, Bottle is pretty much tired, bent out of shape and broken in half.
Bottle and Cappy are also making another appearance, this time in “Fallout Shelter.” Update 1.7 has been released, this time introducing new Weekly and Special Event Quests, as announced via the official Bethesda website.
The new quests can be found in the Overseer’s Office, while Weekly Quests are expected to debut every Friday. Special Events and Holiday Quests are also included in the mix.
For players who have an excess of Nuka-Cola Quantum can easily skip the Quests. The two mascots are worth getting in this first-ever Special Event Quest, which ties-in neatly with the Nuka-World expansion. When Bottle and Cappy visit, players just need to tap them to get Caps and Nuka-Cola Quantum.
Finally, there are new objective that Vault Dwellers can participate in. These will help bring in more resources for the players’ vault homes.
“Fallout 4” Nuka-World will be out on Aug. 30 for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The update 1.7 is already out for Android and iOS devices and PC.
