'Fallout 4' mod improves upon dialogue options found in the game
“Fallout 4” has been on the receiving end of some great fan-made mods which make the overall experience of the game further enhanced and deeper. These mods range from something as simple as making rain more detailed to adding and array of companions. Another discovered mod now allows the player to have a better way with words than ever before.
Bethesda’s “Fallout 4” is without doubt a great title but it’s not without its shortcomings. Perhaps one of its weaknesses is the vague dialogue options given to the game. With each conversation, players will be given 4 options to choose from. The problem with this is that the options are vague. Instead of having full sentences displayed, Bethesda has given players a few words to describe and entire answer. Basically, some players are having trouble finding out the correct response as the dialogue options are rather vague.
A new recently discovered mod for “Fallout 4” looks to be the solution towards this problem. The mod called Full Dialogue Interface by modders Shadwar and Cirosan, will reveal the entire lines during dialogues. This is similar to the dialogue options found in “Fallout 3” and “Fallout New Vegas,” Polygon points out. Adding this mod does not only give players an easier time in the Commonwealth, but it will also let them relive a minor part of past “Fallout” titles.
Upon downloading the mod, players will now see the full sentences of the protagonist even before speaking. Players can now fully control the outcome of each conversation. What’s good is that the mod will still keep the dialogue choices in different colors if persuasion is available.
For now, mods are only available for the PC. However, Bethesda plans of letting PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners a hand at these mod come 2016. It’s not yet sure how Bethesda plans on distributing these mods.
