‘Fashion Police’ On Break As E Lays Out New Plans For The Series
E has decided to stretch the break of “Fashion Police” since the resignation of one of its infamous panelists, Kathy Griffin. The management has agreed to remove the supposedly scheduled shoots of the last three episodes to give way for recasting and fixing the mess in the series that Griffin has left.
The news broke out fast after a tweet from Hollywood Reporter announced “Fashion Police’s” hiatus. Fans of the show were torn between desperately wanting the controversial series to end and wishing for it to start anew even without Joan Rivers, top fashion icon and main host of the series who passed away September last year. On the other hand, Hollywood Reporter said that intent viewers and fanatics of the fashion series need not to panic because the new plan has been scheduled to be carried out very soon. This is to allow E to be able to present at least six episodes in the fall.
The catastrophe, according to Berwick, was due to the series being aired too soon after River’s death. Another cause of the fallout was when Giuliana Rancic, one of the series’ panelists, made rude remarks on Zendaya’s new dreadlocks during Oscars season, ultimately leading up to the resignation of two high-profile panelists, Griffin and Kelly Osbourne.
Griffin has resigned from being the grande dame of "Fashion Police" after replacing friend and mentor Joan Rivers. Calling the series “a dog pile” in her publicity tour was something that shocked NBC Universal Lifestyle Network Group President Frances Berwick and his associates. Defamer says that Griffin has already left hints about her future resignation from the show days before it even happened. According to them, the 54-year-old comedian has shown her intention to “turn over a new leaf” when she said that calling celebrities below-the-belt names with no comedic perspective is the worst. Later on, she has decided that the job was just not cut for her.
As of the moment, the Fashion Police team is re-evaluating the current stand of the series in the heart of the media fashion industry. Berwick says that Fashion Police is changing together with its environment and its audience. She says that they are taking serious steps in assessing the capacities of the fashion series so as to improve its future episodes and make them better than the previously aired ones.
