Despite early announcements made by Universal Studios that casting would be far off schedule, casting speculations continue. In fact, fans of "Fifty Shades" have once again named another actress who could play the role of Anastasia Steele. Who would this brunette beauty be?

Countless names have been mentioned to play the lead roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. The amount of rumours and casting speculations has gone off the roof that some people don't know which to take seriously and which not to. For one, some casting possibilities are utmost hilarious that even E.L. James wouldn't consider them for the role.

As for the most suitable actors and actresses in the business, a few worthy of mention include Somerhalder, Bomer, Jones, Clarke and Bledel. For the role of Christian Grey, Ian Somerhalder of "The Vampire Diaries" is a constant fan favourite and some have even assumed E.L. James would most likely cast Somerhalder in the film. Other favourites for the role of Grey include Matt Bomer, Henry Cavill, Stephen Amell and Jessie Pavelka.

On the other hand, favourites for the role of Anastasia Steele change every month. Last April, the favourite for the role was none other than "Girls" star, Allison Williams. However, Emilia Clarke of "Game of Thrones" and Alexis Bledel of "Gilmore Girls" were still strong contenders. Other notable names for the role include Lyndsy Fonseca, Lucy Hale, Nina Dobrev, Emma Watson and Felicity Jones.

Now, another actress has been thrown into the mix as a suitable Anastasia Steele. Who would it be? Well, this actress would be none other than "Friday Night Lights" star, Minka Kelly. Kelly may be 32-years of age but with the girl-next-door-look and impeccable charm, she'd get away with 21.

Kelly embodies the all-American girl that is Anastasia Steele. Physically, Kelly has got all the features down pat save for the blue-eyes Steele is known for. In the series "Friday Night Lights", Kelly is the girl almost every guy wants and every girl wants to be so it isn't too hard to picture her as Anastasia Steele.
