Design-wise, the two devices are quite similar in a myriad of ways, with Galaxy Note 3 a bit rectangular. Basically, the bigger 5.1-inch display of Galaxy S5 brought this flagship device closer to the size of Galaxy Note 3. One notable difference between the two is the fingerprint scanner located at the physical home button of Galaxy S5.
