There have only been a handful of Halo 5 updates for Xbox One despite the fact that a next Halo game had been announced prior to the launch of the next-gen console.

However, it seems that 343 Industries is gathering some sufficiently helpful information from fans for the next game. VG 24/7 found exchanges between 343 Industries design director Brad Welch and fans via Twitter. which have touched on a number of areas for improvement for what could potentially be Halo 5.

"Halo MP is a challenging beast. Part of my love for it is the Quake arena tradition. We didn't service this so well in Halo 4.

Fans like xBrutality responded with other ideas on how Halo can be better improved:

"Also, you guy when with a progression system but made it way too quick to achieve max SR. H4 had no longevity at all..."

"Tell the players that improving in skill is worth something, lest they be relegated to "social," suggested a Kevin Grismore @GrizzNKev.

The discussion also included Halo 4's DLC maps, such as the need for proper planning of the DLC as well as a hint of a possible 60fps and dedicated servers for perhaps Halo 5 in order for a more awesome gaming for fans.

More games hinted for the PS4: One of them is an anticipated cult horror game.

Star Wars open-world game is EA's next project?

Star Wars fans may look forward to an upcoming open world game on next-gen platforms, if job listings are to be taken as sure hints of the new game.

Joystiq has spotted EA"s most recent job vacancies, which are looking for an animator director, an executive producer, and a lead combat designer position. In the job post, they needed personnel for a sci-property and made mention of the need for next-gen for the game.

Here's another Star Wars game, only for your mobile device: Read here for the full game description, plus more mobile games to try.

Since EA and Disney had already bought the rights to develop Star Wars games from LucasArts earlier this year, it's not impossible that the developer and publisher may be planning a major release for some time next year or even in 2015. And putting an open world spin to it while aiming for next-gen quality may be a good way to bring back the game series' standing in the gaming world.
