Google Nexus 2015 On Release Date Set To Destroy iPhone 7 And Galaxy Note 5 Sales

The official name for the Nexus 6 successor has not been revealed yet. However, the rumour mill has already started talking about it and it seems that the Google Nexus 2015 will come loaded with amazing specs that can possibly devastate the sales of its competitors like the iPhone 7 and the Note 5.

The rumour mill is calling the next Nexus smartphone with different names like the Nexus 2015 and Nexus 5 2015. Since the time the first Nexus smartphone was launched in 20110 Google has partnered with different brands like HTC, Samsung, LG and Motorola for successive models. The Nexus 5 that came out in 2014 was built by LG and the Nexus 6 that came out last year was a product from Motorola.

According to the International Business Times report that was published on states the LG is poised to be working with search engine giant in building the Nexus 2015. However, other speculations also hint that Google may work with Motorola once again or it may partner with the popular Chinese manufacturer, Huawei for building the Nexus 2015.

Another IBTimes report claims that the Google Nexus 2015 will be based on the features of the LG G4 and the unannounced LG G4 Note. The LG G4 comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, Snapdragon 808 chip, 3 GB of RAM, 16 MP camera with Optical Image Stabilisation support, 8 MP front-facing camera and a huge battery of 3000 mAh capacity. The LG G4 Note is expected to come with metal and glass casing. It is expected to feature the Snapdragon 810 or the forthcoming Snapdragon 820 chip and it will be equipped with a stylus.

As of this writing, Google is mum on the Nexus 2015. However, a new device was spotted in a new video for the company’s own cellular network service called the Google Fi. According to Android Origin, the front view of the device shown in the video looks like the Nexus 5. Since the Google Fi will available for Nexus 6 and next Nexus flagship, it is being referred to as Google Nexus 5 2015.

The iPhone 7 and the Galaxy Note 5 are slated to come out in September this year. The Google Nexus 2015 with advanced specs of LG G4 and LG G4 Note can be a serious threat for iPhone 7 and Note 5 Fresh rumours claim that it will be showcased at the upcoming Google I/O event that will be held on May 28 and May 29 in San Francisco, U.S. followed by a release in October or November, states the IBTimes report.
