The Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) is expected to release this year to replace the Motorola Nexus 6 from 2014. The Huawei Nexus handset that is codenamed as “Angler” is expected get unleashed alongside the LG Nexus 5X on Sept. 29 in San Francisco.

The Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) is a phablet device that will be featuring a 5.7 inches display. It will carry support for Quad HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels along with a pixel density of 515 ppi, Phone Arena reported.

The Snapdragon 810 SoC will be powering the Huawei Nexus 6 (2015). Since the beginning of this year, handsets running on the Snapdragon 810 have suffered overheating problems. However, the Nexus 6 (2015) is expected to feature the improved edition of the SD 810 chip that will not be plagued with overheating issues.

The octa-core processor that is present inside the Snapdragon 810 of Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) clocks at 1.9 GHz. It is bundled with Adreno 430 graphics. It will be featuring 3 GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

Like predecessor Nexus smartphones, the Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) will not be featuring a microSD slot. It will be available in two storage editions of 32 GB and 64 GB. It will come preinstalled with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The fingerprint sensor present on the rear panel can be used to secure payments through Android Pay service.

According to the GFXBench listing of the Huawei Angler handset, the device will be featuring a 13 MP camera that will support 4K resolution video recording. On the front, it will feature an 8 MP camera. It will be featuring a massive battery of 3,500 mAh capacity.

Speculations are rife that the Huawei Nexus 6 (2015) will be announced on Sept. 29. Talk Android reported that the preorders of the Huawei phablet will start on Oct. 13. The base model is expected to carry a price tag of $649. Since Huawei is known for selling flagship smartphones at low prices, other sources claim that it will be priced around $449 to $549.
