The LG-made Google Nexus 5 released in 2013 is now available at a killer discounted price. Online retailer eBay is offering the LG Nexus 5 for a price of only $269.99.

It is worth noting that, the discount deal is available for the 16 GB variant of the Nexus handset. While the discounted Nexus 5 price is $269.99, the original price used to be $349, notes Android Headlines. Also, Google is reportedly selling only the latest Nexus 6 at this point. Therefore, for the ones that would not like to own a huge 6.0-inch device which will not fit the pockets, the predecessor Nexus 5 is a good option.

Here is a quick recap of the Google Nexus 5 specifications: This device comes with a pocket-friendly 5.0-inch display packed with 1,080 x 1,920 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, the handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and backed by a good 2 GB of RAM configuration. On the software front, the handset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.

When it comes to camera configuration, the phone sports an 8 MP rear-facing unit with LED flash and Optical Image Stabilisation support. This battery is apparently capable of giving up to 17 hours of 3G talk time and 300 hours of 3G stand-by time. Adding a cherry on top, the LG Nexus 5 supports Wireless Charging (Qi-enabled) option and NFC. As far as the memory goes, this Nexus handset can be availed as 16 GB and 32 GB variants. On the other hand, Android Geeks Website says, the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for Nexus 5, along with Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 is gearing up for roll out. As a matter of fact, the new firmware will also be sent out to Google’s latest devices like the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 eventually. Also it is worth noting that, the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update has already been rolled out to the Nexus Player. Therefore, other compatible Nexus devices will reportedly start receiving the new firmware in the next few weeks.
