Google Nexus 6P & Huawei Mate 8 specs comparison: Both smartphones pack a punch with top-class features
Both Huawei Mate 8 and Google Nexus 6P are exceptional smartphones boasting some top-end specs and overall heavy-duty performance. The Huawei Mate 8 is wider and denser than Google Nexus 6P due to its 6-inch display though the Nexus smartphone is taller.

It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, Adreno 430 graphics processor and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, upgradable to 7.0 Nougat. It comes with a 3GB RAM and 32/64/128 GB internal storage options.
On the other hand, the Huawei Mate 8 is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor, Mali-T880 MP4 GPU and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Its 32GB internal storage version has a 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage version has 4GB RAM. Storage is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card, reports GSMArena.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon processor is definitely much faster and enjoys more popularity for its performance. Both Huawei Mate 8 and Google Nexus 6P have non-removable batteries though the Mate 8’s battery capacity of 4,000 mAh is better than 6P’s 3,450 mAh battery capacity.
According to Tech Times, the Huawei Mate 8 borrows the recent Sony IMX298 16MP sensor for the main camera with an 8MP selfie snapper on the front side. The fingerprint sensor sits under the main camera.
The Google Nexus 6P has a 12.3MP primary snapper and an 8MP selfie snapper. Both phones are endowed with leading camera features. The Google Nexus 6P has front stereo speakers that provide an awesome audio experience.
As is evident from the specs, both the Huawei Mate 8 and Google Nexus 6P are equipped with top-end specs and features and it is up to the buyer to decide which specs are more suitable.
