Google’s upcoming 'Android N' mentioned in Samsung’s official website
Samsung has apparently leaked an important feature related to Google’s upcoming version of Android OS, dubbed as Android N. The official Samsung website hints at stylus support in Android N.
Samsung official page, Look API lists three S Pen-specific features (see image below) which are said to be ‘deprecated in N.’ The S-Pen related features include AirButton, SmartClip and WritingBuddy.
The above mentioned stylus features constitute a notable part of Galaxy Note 5’s S-Pen. According to XDA Developers Forums, Google might consider incorporating these features into Android N.

However, there is no confirmation that by ‘N,’ Samsung is referring to Google’s Android N. But this triggered speculations that the upcoming OS version, rumoured to be known as Android N, may feature support for the stylus Pen.
The official page says “Look offers specialised widgets and service components for extended functions of the Samsung Android devices.” The listing in the developer section falls under ‘Look SDK version 1.3.0,’ which supports new UI styles to be developed on Edge applications.
The developers section of Samsung’s official website also confirmed the existence of Galaxy S7 Edge. The purported Galaxy S7 Edge variant briefly appeared on the website as one of the eligible devices to come up with the new screen modes. However, Samsung has removed it as of writing.
But, the XDA Developers Forums as well as portal Galaxy Club managed to take a screenshot the page, before it was taken down. The developers section will help them understand how to use the Look SDK 1.3.0, to create apps specifically required for the Edge display as well the S Pen stylus.
Last December, the team behind the success of Pixel C conducted a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) session , where the members revealed that Google is working on Android N. At the event, the Google team also mentioned few of the Android N features that the search giant is working on, including the split screen display functionality, as reported by Android Police.
Google is expected to release its next version of Android OS at the annual developer conference, Google I/O 2016. Google CEO Sundar Pichai tweeted to confirm that the annual event will take place a little earlier than expected.
