‘GTA Online’ Heists New Leaks Include Vehicles, Armed Robbery And Confirmed Download Size On Xbox One
With “GTA Online Heists” expected to debut today, but it appears that some players were able to access the newest update for “GTA V” early on. And as such, leaks started coming out everywhere before all of the players were able to get their hands on the update.
One such leak was the size of “GTA Online Heists,” which according to IGN, is a whopping 4.8GB on the Xbox One. The massiveness of the size may be due in part to the Xbox One being a next-gen console. The source adds that the Xbox 360 update only clocks in at 1.2GB. PlayStation fans, however, would need to wait for “GTA Online Heists” to become available, as no leaks for the size have appeared.
There are also nine additional achievements spotted by Xbox Achievements. Some of them include completing some missions, becoming a Heist Leader and splitting the cash equally, spending as much as $8 million in vehicles that are part of the “GTA Online Heists” update and earning 25 platinum medals to become a Mastermind. So far, there are a total of 58 achievements for “GTA V,” which all total 1,250 points.
VG 24/7 also managed to uncover the new faces, weapons and vehicles that the “GTA Online Heists” brings. There are seven new people joining in for the five Heists missions and eight new vehicles, all militarized and ready for shooting action. Note that among the vehicles, there are trucks, vans, jeeps, choppers and a jet.
There are also snapshots taken of the Karin Kuruma. It comes in a black armoured version and a light blue civilian version, as seen in the link above. Outfits and masks have also been leaked, both for men and women captured in screenshots. And finally, those with early access were able to even mine data for the new gear and outfits. Some cost around $910 like the bowtie or the handcuffs, cop gear, cop hat and helmets, which are surprisingly cheap at $0. The flight suit will cost players at $60,000.
Developer Rockstar Games has previously announced some of the expected features that will debut with the update. Those who are thinking of becoming the Heist Leader would need to be at least rank 12, with their own high-end apartment and planning board for crime coordination. These are all up-front costs, though the tradeoff would be complete control over the team, their roles, and the payout for each upon completion.
The leaked tools and gear have been hinted at by the developer as unlockables with the “GTA Online Heists” update. But it is up to the gang to make sure that their arsenal is ready for heists.
