Oscar-winning actress, Halle Berry has received an award at Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night in recognition of her humanitarian work.

Berry was honored at the star-studded event Saturday night in Phoenix Arizona, with A-list actor, Kevin Costner, eight-time host, Billy Crystal and Frankie Muniz to grace the event.

The organizers of this year’s Muhammad Ali Celebrity Fight Night presented the award to 'The New Year’s Eve' star for her ongoing support for good causes, including St. Joseph hospital in Phoenix.

Another highlight of Saturday’s gala was the performances of various artists including American Idol first season winner, Kelly Clarkson.

The event also featured Bret Michaels who performed in hopes to raise funds for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at the St. Joseph’s hospital. Having suffered a brain hemorrhage in 2010, Michaels had received treatment from the facility and his performance at the night’s event he said is a way to express gratitude for saving his life.

"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to rock at Celebrity Fight Night in support of St. Joseph's. St. Joseph's saved my life and I am grateful to be able to attend the charity event that benefits this amazing hospital," Michaels was quoted as saying by Aceshowbiz.

Michaels also offered to have dinner date as part of an auction on the night. He was followed by upcoming 'Superman' actor, Kevin Costner who also donated a similar prize.
