An entire year-that's the time difference (technically) between when the game BioShock Infinite was released, and when the promised Season Pass DLCs will be released.

After many teasers about big news for the BioShock Infinite game and the release of a non-Season Pass DLC, Columbia's Finest, it seems that we won't be hearing a lot about BioShock Infinite, at least until late this year or early 2014.

IncGamers reports that the delay is most likely due to the fact that developer Irrational Games, led by Ken Levine on the project, had only started working on the DLC after it was delivered to the audience, with actual work commencing as far as late March.

Perhaps what is most disconcerting for gamers is that, while you can be assured that the DLC content is not merely trimmed off add-ons from the original game, packaged and distributed as an entirely new concept.

Since it is an extension of the narrative and even a rumoured companion AI for Booker, it seems like this DLC is really an additional content, technically-speaking.

Still, a year-long wait is almost like waiting for a new game installment, but the Season Pass DLC promise of three separate add-on content that's supposedly aimed to dumbfound gamers the same way BioShock Infinite really put the shock and awe in infinite gear did.

Halo 4 gets Champions DLC bundle

Three packages and a lot of different goodies are coming for Halo 4 this August 20.

The Rooster Teeth Expo held last weekend bore fruit for those awaiting updates for the Halo 4 franchise, as a new DLC bundle was announce.

According to VG 24/7, the three packages are named Infinity Armour Pack, Steel Skins pack, and Bullseye pack, which will be packed in the Champions Bundle.

Infinity Armour has three armour skins, while the Steel Skins pack allows various weapons to be transformed into other metal-age contraptions.

The Bullseye pack features two multiplayer maps, plus an additional called Ricochet, which, in summary, is similar to ball games where you have to score a goal using a ball.

If you're one of the first to get it when it's out for the first two weeks, Ricochet will be part of the Champions Bundle. Then it will be made available for free for download. The Champions Bundle is 800 MS points for all, while you can get the maps for 480 MS points each and the skins pack for 240 MS points each.

Preorder Bonus pack for Final Fantasy 13

Next year's Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 will be getting a preorder bonus pack featuring five items, reports DLCentral.

The preorder bonus, which features Cloud Strife's Soldier 1st Class Uniform, Buster Sword, Soldier's Band, Victory Fanfare, and Finishing Animation, is an extra aside from the limited edition Steelbook case.

The bonus pack will be available in the U.S. and Europe, with the game slated for release early February next year.
