Executive Producer Craig Thomas has teased that "The Mother" (Cristin Milioti) will be appearing a lot in the upcoming "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9 episodes like Episode 13 titled "Bass Player Wanted." Mr Thomas even joked in the TV Line report that the HIMYM fans will be so sick of "The Mother" by the end of the comedy series.

The synopsis for the upcoming episode in the Hollywood Hills report reads: "The gang is going to encounter a guy at the wedding who intentionally stirs up trouble among them, and Marshall will finally arrive at the Farhampton Inn." The guest stars in the brand new episode includes Andrew Rannells as Darren, Robert Belushi as Linus and David Grammer as the Old Sailor Guy.

Actress Cristin Milioti will be the star in the 200th episode titled "How Your Mother Met Me" where the story is told from the perspective of "The Mother." The executive producer further revealed in the Christian Post report that the 200th episode or Season 9's Episode 16 will convey what the show has set up for the titular character.

"Various claims we've made about the mother over the years - like her making breakfast and singing show tunes - will be paid off," Craig Thomas stated. The other "How I Met Your Mother" cast members weighed in as well on what fans can expect in the upcoming episodes like Jason Segel who portrays Marshall and Cobie Smulders who portrays Robin.

"I would like Marshall to be visited by the ghost of his father, because Marshall very firmly believes that is possible, as I've also always believed personally," Jason Segel teased with co-creator Carter Bays confirming it will happen.

"That is actually happening. In the second half of the season, Marshall will be meeting the ghost of his father, played again by Bill Fagerbakke," Mr Bays declared. As for Cobie Smulders, the actress hints about introducing her character's mom very soon.

"She missed her flight to Barney and Robin's wedding, so I'm interested to see if she gets there," the actress teased. "How I Met Your Mother" Season 9, Episode 13 "Bass Player Wanted" is scheduled to air on Monday night, December 16, at 7 p.m. central time on the CBS network.
