How Will Kate Middleton Celebrate Her Birthday On Jan. 9?

The Duchess of Cambridge will celebrate her 32nd birthday Jan. 9. The budding query in her fans' mind is how will Kate Middleton celebrate her birthday?

Earlier, she has celebrated her big day with husband Prince William and her family. But after becoming a mother, it appears like this year's birthday bash with Prince George could be entirely different. The royals might opt out for a low-key event because her birthday coming two weeks after the royal Christmas celebration at Sandringham.

It is speculated that the Duchess of Cambridge will most probably spend her birthday at her new home at Kensington Palace along with the Duke of Cambridge and Prince George. William has always presented Kate with very thoughtful and precious gifts to make her big day unforgettable such as pearl earrings. During their dating period, William surprised Kate with a romantic candle-lit dinner in an out-of-the-way log cabin on the royal Balmoral estate in Scotland.

In the previous year, her birthday fell a few weeks after the announcement of her pregnancy news and she was going through severe morning sickness at that time. William and Kate celebrated the birthday with Middleton family and went out to watch a "Cirque de Soleil show" at the Royal Albert Hall.

To make Kate's birthday memorable along with Prince George, William has a planned something very special this year. After meeting Taylor Swift at an event he hosted at Kensington Palace in November 2013 for homeless charity Centrepoint William has asked her to meet Kate as a birthday gift.

Swift addressed the audience at the event saying: "I'm Taylor; it is very nice to meet you, especially under these circumstances. It is my first time playing at Kensington Palace or any other palace for that matter. I have to thank you, Prince William, for having me. It's amazing.I'm absolutely excited. I don't think I've ever played at a palace before, so it is really wonderful."

"William's been trying to get Kate's surprise sorted for Jan.9 when she turns 32," a source has told Closer Magazine. "When he met Taylor Swift recently he asked her if there's any likelihood she's in the UK for the New Year, or just after, because he knows Kate's a fan and she's love to meet the singer," a source revealed.

So keep your fingers crossed for how and where the Duchess of Cambridge will celebrate her birthday.
