HP Falcon Windows 10 smartphone with Snapdragon 820 may get announced in MWC 2015
A slew of new Windows 10 Mobile OS powered smartphones is rumored to release in 2016. Rumours are rife that HP is working on a smartphone called HP Falcon. The smartphone with flagship specifications is expected to get announced during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 tech show in February 2016.
The HP Falcon was first found listed on AdDuplex data that revealed the names of forthcoming Windows 10 mobile devices like Lumia 650 and LG G Pad V8.3. According to Nokia Power User, the HP Falcon was also spotted on the GFXBench benchmarks database earlier in this month.
The GFXBench listing revealed that the purported HP Falcon, a phablet model, will be arriving with a huge display of 5.8 inches. It will be carrying support for a Quad HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The HP Falcon will be featuring a Snapdragon 820 chipset that will be accompanied by 2GB of RAM. Among the rumored Windows 10 Mobile devices, the HP Falcon is the only one to feature Snapdragon 820 chipset.
The native storage of the device will be at 64GB. There is no information on whether it will be coming with a microSD card slot. The rear camera of the HP Falcon will be of 20MP and it will be equipped with a selfie shooter of 12MP.
Since HP Falcon’s existence has not been officially confirmed by the manufacturer, it is not sure whether it will be released with the same moniker. Speculations are circulating that even though it will be arriving with flagship specs, it will be available with an affordable price tag.
The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 event will be held from Feb. 22 through Feb. 26. News are swirling that the HP Falcon will get announced at MWC 2016, WM Power User reported.
