Reports claimed that the HTC J Butterfly now hits the European market and is now available for pre-order.

A phone similar to HTC Droid DNA was up for pre-order at Expansys.com under the name of the HTC Butterfly.

The HTC J Butterfly was released in Japan over a month ago and since then we've had news of a renamed version hitting the US as the HTC Droid DNA, and then we were led to be believed that the handset would then be released in the UK as the HTC Deluxe.

Reports say that HTC is stocking the handset to the UK online retailer but with no release date or pricing we still find it hard to believe the Android running smartphone will be released in the UK.

Some reports claimed that these UK units may be grey-market imports, meaning that HTC hasn't officially started offering them in the UK, so if you buy one of these units, you may not get the official HTC warranty. Everyone is advised to shop with caution.

This version for sale is for an unlocked and SIM-free model that comes in black. The device sports the large 5-inch display with a 1080p resolution. The US version of the phone comes with a 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.

The website lists similar specs with the UK version of the device, and a hefty price tag may accompany those specs. The recent China version will have a price of around $700, expect that the UK version ended up costing somewhere in that price range as well.

The HTC J Butterfly is a smartphone released exclusively in Japan. In the United States, HTC and Verizon Wireless finally unveiled the rumored smartphone HTC Droid DNA and its amazing specs and features that make other smartphones bite the dust.

The much talked about HTC Droid DNA was finally introduce at a press event early this month in New York. Although not a perfect smartphone, its pixel-dense display and body design are surely up for competition.

The new HTC Droid DNA boasts 5-inch 1080p HD Super LCD3 display. It included 440 pixels per inch like the iPhone 5 and puts most other smartphone displays to shame. The DNA runs Google's Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and includes HTC's Sense 4.0+ user interface overlay.

Although the device is sports a Full HD screen display, it falls short in the storage option and battery life. HTC Droid DNA has 16GB of internal storage and a little over 2000 mAh battery capacity.

However, there is no official comment yet from HTC.
